Have you heard about aerobic training? Aerobic training is the act of using large muscle groups in a rhythmic pattern. It  increases heart rate and increases use of oxygen, which makes it a great form of exercise. Aerobic training can also improve blood circulation and the effectiveness of your lungs. This makes aerobic training great for individuals who have jobs where they sit at desks throughout the work day. Aerobic exercise is a great way of exercising due to its adaptability for individuals who are just starting out on their fitness journey or someone who has been keeping active for many years.

Aerobic training comes in many forms but some of the most common include swimming, dancing, biking, and walking. Dancing can come in many forms and settings. This can be done solo at home or taken as a class with others. Swimming is a great choice for those who want to have low impact on their joints in their arms and legs. The water acts as a resistance as you propel your body through the water and is a full work out in itself. There are water aerobic classes that you can take to help if dance classes are too tough on joints as well. Biking can be done outdoors for those who like to exercise in nature and the level of difficulty can be determined by the trail or road you take. Lastly, one other option mentioned above is walking. This form of aerobic exercise can be done anywhere. Getting steps in is a great way to increase your level of fitness without having to invest in a gym membership or equipment at home.
