PAIN MANAGEMENT
During this Phase, you will clearly define your goals for physical therapy. Also, you will start to experience a reduction in pain and inflammation while improving your motion. This phase typically lasts six visits or less depending on the severity of the condition.
CORRECTIVE TREATMENT
Once pain and inflammation have been reduced, you will begin to work on your body’s strength, mobility, and flexibility in order to prepare for Phase III.
FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
Phase III is where you really start to see the results of all your hard work. During this phase, you will be performing activities related to your goals that were established during your initial evaluation.
INJURY PREVENTION
Congratulations! You have successfully completed your transformation and have now returned to doing what you enjoy. You will continue to perform all the new activities you learned in order to maintain your strength and functional gains and prevent injury.
