Dr. Kirsten Atchison is a Fort Wayne native. She graduated high school from Project Ballet’s academic conservatory. At 17, she moved to Seattle to dance with Pacific Northwest ballet. She would also dance with Louisville ballet before returning to Fort Wayne to pursue Physical Therapy. Dr. Kirsten received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Trine University. During her educational pursuits she also taught dance in the Fort Wayne area for over 7 years. Being a ballerina herself, she has a unique ability and passion for treating ballerinas and enjoys continually learning how to best serve the ballet community through taking classes such as “Injury management and prevention of the dancer: for the recreational, pre professional, and professional dancer”. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, dancing, teaching, yoga, and hiking.
